Part 1 - Playing Outwar as a Monster

So you're sitting here as a monster because you think it owns gangsters, but shortly realise you got shafted thanks to the lame gangster skill, Illusion. Well guess what? There's a few ways to make your own 'Illusion' by making use of certain monster skills and purchasing certain items. But we'll cover the basics first.

If you're first starting out on Outwar, you'll want to concentrate on getting yourself clicks. There's many ways to go about this. The most common way is to use a thugbuilder, but because of Outwars new 15 click system, they are pretty much useless. However, if you have a dialup connection, you can use thugbuilders to your whim. After you give 15 clicks, just disconnect and reconnect and you can give another 15 clicks. One thugbuilder I would highly suggest is www.outwarbuilder.com. I have only received 1-2 empty clicks from them, and have receieved 100+ quality clicks.

However, thugbuilders are not the only way to get clicks. Chances are you have heard of Proxies, correct? Well don't use 'em. With Outwars 15 click system, they are just as pointless as thugbuilders. The mass amount of people attempting to proxy have worn out all IP addresses, and it would just be a waste of your time to use a Proxy. So since that is out of the question, what else can you do to get thugs you ask? Well for one, if you have dialup, you can use Soulrippers Auto Thugbuilder (You will have to find this yourself as it would be wrong for me to link to it). Soulrippers program only works if you are on dialup however. This god-like program will disconnect you and re-connect you to the internet and click your link for you for as many clicks as you have it set to, and you can even build your underlings and friends at the same time! I highly recommend this program if you have dialup.

You can also find yourself and Auto Scratcher and scratch of TONS and TONS of cards to get thugs. This is the least recommended method, and I rarely use it myself.

Now that you got yourself enough clicks to upgrade some skills, I will give you the rundown on skills you should upgrade, and to what level. The skills I do not mention are a complete waste, so please bear with me.

- Upgrade Empower to Level 8

- Upgrade Stealth to Level 8

- Upgrade Enfeeble to Level 8

- Upgrade Confusion to Level 8

- Upgrade Spiked Flesh to Level 5

- Upgrade Masterful Looting to Level 5

- Upgrade Adrenaline to Level 5

- Upgrade Indestructible Bag to Level 8

- Upgrade Increased Security to Level 5

After you have upgraded all of those, you're ready to continue on with this guide.

It's probably taken you a couple days to get over 1,000 feet and get these skills, so you should make sure you save a bunch of attacks. The rest of this guide will concentrate on getting the most out an attack spree, and either maxing items or going for the Gold Trophy in the Role Playing League.

The day that you have 2,000 attacks (approximately 6-7 days if you get 10 attacks per hour and use Adrenaline), is the day you will begin your major attack spree. This spree can last anywhere from 1 hour to 12 hours depending on if you are going for Gold or maxing out items.

Start your spree by having a friend cast Level 8 Stealth and Empower on you, so you can save them for later. Now, cast Level 5 Masterful Looting on yourself, along with Level 5 Adrenaline. Begin hitting people in your range that are Moderate fights using 5 attack turns per attack (as this will earn you 8% with Looting, or 13% if you are in a crew with Level 5 Depository). Once you have earned approximately $50,000,000 to $100,000,000 at this point, purchase 1 Plasma Shield and 15 Mystic Armors. After purchasing, cast Level 5 Spiked Flesh on yourself. The reason you are buying all defense items from here on out (until you max Mystic Armors), is because most people will only do 5,000-7,000 damage, and as will you. However, Spiked Flesh will auto-cause 60,000 damage, winning you Very Hard fights.

Now start attacking Close Fights and higher level fights, keeping a watch out for people attacking you and casting Money Laundering on you. Once you have achieved about $200,000,000 - $300,000,000 at this point, buy about 20-30 more Mystic Armors, cast Level 5 Indestructible Bag on yourself, and continue attacking. Now your path will split. You can stay at this power and continue attacking all people in your range until you have over $500,000,000 and then buy a Gold Trophy, or you can attack until you have alot of money and then buy a bunch of items. This choice is up to you.

If you decide to buy the Gold Trophy, that will be the end of your attack spree. If you decide to buy items, continue reading this guide.

If you decide to continue attacking to gain items, then purchase about 60 more Mystic Armors, bringing your total to 100 Mystic Armors and 1 Plasma Shield. Now, begin hitting people that have a higher power then you, and you will begin netting $6,000,000+ per attack (when using 10 attack turns per attack that is). Start buying your way up the ladder gradually (win money, buy items, win, buy, etc). Once you have maxed Mystic Armors, you will have about 400,000+ power. At this point, Gangsters that have max items should be in your range. Whip out the great Level 8 Enfeeble and Confusion, and cast BOTH of them on a player that is maxed. Now you should be able to win, and you will net yourself an amazing $60,000,000-$150,000,000 PER HIT!!! You may even be able to buy a Gold Trophy with this!!!

If you have any money left over, put it into your bank and cast Level 5 Increased Security on yourself.

After you have maxed out your items and gotten a Gold Trophy as a monster, you are pretty much a master of Outwar... There is not much left to do after this besides make your foot count climb through the roof, and hold the bragging rights of being one of less then 100 people to max out items and maintain it for more then 10 minute o_O;;

I hope you enjoyed this very basic guide to playing Outwar as a monster, and will come back for more. If you have any suggestions for me, feel free to contact me on AIM or by e-mail.
